To celebrate Weekly Shonen Jump‘s 25th anniversary, Shueisha decided to create a new style event to promote it’s history for the fans. The name of the event was called “Weekly Jump Multi World” and was a exhibition that was held in the Tokyo Dome Prism Hall between July 28th through August 15th, 1993. 25th Anniversary
Congrats

25 years, that’s amazing this magazine has been around that long. Plus, it’s been at the top for a long time during that history!! That’s incredible. Now it’s reaching the global scale. Even back when I was a kid, “Jump” was an amazing magazine.
Looking ahead, sales could go each 6 million copies, or maybe 7 or 8 million even, while doing even more amazing things. Keep it up.
Congratulations for your 25th anniversary.

He also provided this shikishi for the event, in addition to the other illustration based on his on going series, Bastard!!:

The remainder of the article is a short summaries of the Bastard!! manga series.

The following is some additional context and information not included in the original article.

Lipstick Fever (微熱口紅) was originally published in the Weekly Shonen Jump Summer Special in 1987. Below is the author comment he had for that first oneshot that was published in the table of contents with that issue (with a rough English translation):

生まれて初めてかいた原稿が、いきなり掲載なんて夢のよう! ぜい感想聞かせてくれる

It is a dream come true to see that my first manuscript I wrote was published! Please let me know what you think of it.

Weekly Shonen Jump Summer Special 1987 issue cover

The Bastard!! manga series had a complex history during its serialization as it jumped between magazines. It originally started in Weekly Shonen Jump issue 14 in 1988 as a standard weekly serialization for a year and a half. Then in 1990 is was in the seasonal releases of the Weekly Shonen Jump Special. During 1993 when this profile was written, it was still in that seasonal magazine. In 1997 it moved back into Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, but this time it was on an irregular release schedule. There was 5 chapters released in 1997, 8 chapters in 1998, and then 7 chapters in 1999. Starting in 2000 the serialization moved into the monthly Ultra Jump magazine and continued its irregular releases until it completed in 2010. A portion of the manga series was licensed and released in English by Viz Media from 2002-2010 in North America, covering the first 19 volumes.

The OVA series for the Bastard!! anime was released as separate episodes starting in August 25, 1992. The OVA series would run for a total of 6 episodes, with additional episodes being released on home video every 2 months.
